What is a product?

Any good or service you offer to satisfy a customer's need or desire is a product. There are both real and virtual ones.
Durable commodities (including automobiles, furniture, and computers) and nondurable items are examples of physical things (such as food and beverages).
Services or experiences are offered as virtual products (such as furniture ,education, software, and other digital products).
A product could be hybrid, with both physical and digital components. As traditionally analogue items use digital technology to better reach and serve customers, hybrid products are becoming increasingly prevalent.
As you will discover in this manual, a product is much more than just its outward characteristic.
